One of the companies traded on Borsa Istanbul announced that the collective bargaining agreement process conducted with its employees had been completed within the scope of the Capital Markets Board’s current Communiqué on Material Events. In the notification made on 19 October 2025, it was emphasized that the negotiations concluded with mutual understanding after a long negotiation period.

The statement indicated that the agreement reached between employer and employee representatives covered both wage improvements and regulations regarding social rights and working conditions. Company officials stated that the collective agreement improved employees’ personal rights and aligned with the company’s long-term human resources strategy.

In the notification submitted to investors through the Public Disclosure Platform, it was emphasized that the statement complied with the applicable legislation, fully reflected the books and records, and that every effort had been made to obtain complete and accurate information regarding the matter. Industry representatives state that such transparent disclosures among companies are of critical importance in terms of investor confidence.

A company traded on Borsa Istanbul announced to its investors a new business relationship established on 30 March 2026 within the scope of the Capital Markets Board’s Communiqué on Material Events. The notification submitted to the Public Disclosure Platform at 18:22 was shared with the public under the title “Regarding New Business Relationship.”

The statement indicated that the newly established business relationship would make a significant contribution to the company’s current field of activity and was expected to positively impact financial results in the upcoming quarters. The company management stated that the agreement would both expand operational capacity and strengthen the company’s market position.

In the notification submitted to investors, it was emphasized that the information contained in the statement fully complied with books and records and that all principles stipulated by the legislation had been observed. Industry analysts point out that similar business relationship notifications made by publicly traded companies play a decisive role in investor decisions and provide important signals regarding companies’ growth strategies. Such transparency practices are also of critical importance for the healthy functioning of capital markets.

The regulation included in Article 4 of the Regulation Amending the Road Transport Regulation, published in the Official Gazette dated 1 October 2025 and numbered 33034, which required “the processing of information into the U-ETDS system at least 2 hours before departures originating from airports,” was brought before the judiciary. The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) filed a lawsuit requesting a stay of execution and annulment of the relevant provision on the grounds that the implementation seriously disrupted airport transfer operations.

During the proceedings conducted under file number 2025/5788 of the 8th Chamber of the Council of State, the requests included in the application were deemed justified. The request for a STAY OF EXECUTION regarding the administrative act subject to the lawsuit was accepted, and the 2-hour notification obligation was effectively suspended.

As a result of the decision, until another court decision is rendered, entering information into the U-ETDS system at least 1 hour before departures originating from airports is considered sufficient. In the announcement made by TÜRSAB, it was emphasized that the decision constituted an extremely important achievement for the sector and preserved the operational flexibility of airport transfer services. It is considered that the regulation will resolve disruptions experienced particularly in last-minute reservations and during peak hours.

Martta şarj istasyonlarının elektrik tüketimi 67 milyon 547 bin 488 kilovatsaat oldu. Bunun yüzde 59,31'ine denk gelen 40 milyon 62 bin 264 kilovatsaatlik kısmı yeşil şarj istasyonlarından karşılanırken 27 milyon 485 bin 224 kilovatsaatlik tüketim ise diğer istasyonlardan sağlandı.

Yeşil şarj istasyonları, kullanılan enerjinin yenilenebilir kaynaklardan üretildiğini belgeleyen Yenilenebilir Enerji Kaynak Garanti Sertifikası'na (YEK-G) sahip istasyonlar olarak tanımlanıyor. Bu istasyonlar, elektrikli araçların karbon ayak izini azaltmada ve temiz enerji kullanımını teşvik etmede kritik rol oynuyor.

İstanbul tüketimde ilk sırada Rapora göre, martta tüketimde ilk sırayı 21 bin 359 megavatsaatle İstanbul aldı. Bunu 9 bin 914 megavatsaatle Ankara ve 3 bin 608 megavatsaatle İzmir izledi.

Söz konusu dönemde toplam soket sayısı yaklaşık 41 bin 938'e yükseldi. Soket sayısı şubatta 40 bin 575 olarak kayıtlara geçmişti.

Martta AC şarj soket sayısı 23 bin 900'e, DC şarj soket sayısı ise 18 bin 38'e ulaştı.

Öte yandan, şubatta 399 bin 43 olan elektrikli araç sayısı martta 411 bin 796'ya yükseldi.

Tufan Akdeniz, Member of the Executive Board for Mercedes-Benz Light Commercial Vehicles, announced that the brand’s electric eSprinter model will be converted into a minibus in Türkiye and will be launched for sale within this year. Reminding that classic Sprinter models are already converted into minibuses with Turkish craftsmanship and engineering, Akdeniz stated that the electric version has also successfully gone through the same process.

In his statement, Akdeniz said: “Mercedes-Benz Sprinter becomes a minibus with Turkish craftsmanship and engineering. We had stated that we would also turn the electric Sprinter into a minibus. We have built that vehicle, and it has passed its tests. We will see the eSprinter minibus on the roads this year. We will start taking the first steps this year.” It was also emphasized that having the world’s first electric Mercedes-Benz minibus on the roads in Türkiye will be a model achievement for the brand.

It was also announced that orders have begun for the brand’s new fully electric luxury vehicle, VLE, which has a range exceeding 700 km. Planned to be delivered to customers in the last quarter, the VLE will initially be offered in a single version, with different equipment options to be added to the portfolio in the following period. It was also stated that the number of VLE units to be delivered this year will not exceed a few hundred.

The transformation of electric commercial vehicles is considered a turning point in the sector in terms of sustainable transportation goals.

The regulation titled “Amendment to the Road Transport Regulation” entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated May 15, 2025, and numbered 32901. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that the regulation includes innovations across a wide range, from motorcycle courier activities to the employment of female drivers.

Within the scope of the regulation, motorcycle couriers were officially registered for the first time, and a requirement to obtain a P1 authorization certificate was introduced. Couriers operating with a maximum of 3 vehicles will benefit from an 85% discount on authorization certificate fees, while those obtaining the certificate within the first 6 months following publication will receive a 95% discount. Couriers can also carry out transactions via the e-Government portal with a discount of up to 5%.

Courier operators are required not to accept shipments to undeliverable addresses, not to commit to any delivery time, and to return undelivered shipments to the sender within the same period. Additionally, it has become mandatory for couriers to display the word “KURYE” and the company’s U-Net number on their reflective vests and helmets.

To increase the employment of female drivers, a 95% discount on vehicle card fees is provided for each female driver employed, reducing the fee from 3,019 TRY to 150 TRY. Companies employing female drivers equivalent to 10% of their fleet within the last year will have their authorization certificates extended free of charge for three months. To prevent driver fatigue, a penalty of 75 warning points (equivalent to 44,325 TRY) has been introduced for tachograph manipulation. Intercity shuttle and student transportation services have also been restructured; operators working with a maximum of 3 vehicles will benefit from a 95% discount on authorization certificate fees.

Mercedes-Maybach has refreshed its flagship S-Class model with one of the most comprehensive updates in the brand’s history. The update focuses on a new MB.OS-based digital architecture and a revised design language. With the new system, the in-car experience has become more connected and customizable.

On the exterior, the enlarged and illuminated front grille stands out as one of the most notable changes. The model offers six- and eight-cylinder engine options, with the S580 version featuring a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 530 horsepower, combined with the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. A hybrid-supported six-cylinder version is also planned for certain markets.

The model was first introduced in Sindelfingen, Germany, and its Türkiye roadmap has also been clarified. The new Maybach is expected to be launched in Türkiye initially with the S580 4MATIC version, between the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter of 2026. Inside, the next-generation MBUX system, rear-seat passenger displays, and updated control systems stand out.

Another notable innovation is the introduction of a leather-free interior option for the first time. With enhanced digital features and expanded personalization options, the new Maybach aims to strengthen its competitive position in the ultra-luxury sedan segment. This update in the luxury segment indicates a reshaping of competition in the premium automotive market.

The Ministry of Industry and Technology has defined the standards for safety systems to be installed in school transport vehicles through an amendment made to the “Regulation on the Manufacturing, Modification, and Assembly of Vehicles,” in line with the needs set by the Ministry of Interior. With this regulation, the technical requirements for camera systems, video recording devices, emergency buttons, and tracking systems to be installed in vehicles have been clarified.

The implementation details have been regulated through the “Serial Assembly Certification Directive” put into effect by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE). According to the regulation, companies that provide device sets capable of operating in integration with the 112 Emergency Call Center will be granted a “Device Compliance for Installation Report.” This report certifies that the devices are compatible with public emergency response systems.

As of July 14, 2025, the installation of these devices can be carried out by all companies engaged in the modification of school transport vehicles that hold a “Serial Modification Type Approval Certificate.” Additionally, companies are required to have at least 10 service points across 7 geographical regions in Türkiye. Through cost-effective SIM cards in the devices, direct data communication will be established with the 112 Emergency Call Center, aiming to provide safer, human-centered travel.

With the regulation, companies responsible for supplying devices and those performing installation activities will be separated, and device sets will be standardized. This will ensure the installation of high-quality, traceable, and secure devices in vehicles. By matching devices with vehicles, monitoring and supervision by the Ministry of Interior will be facilitated. The implementation will initially start with school transport vehicles and later be expanded to cover all public transportation vehicles. Device information will be matched with vehicle chassis numbers to ensure traceability.

With the amendment made to the Highway Traffic Regulation, the phased transition schedule has been officially clarified for mandatory equipment in commercial passenger and public transportation vehicles, including vehicle tracking systems, cameras, video recording devices, and emergency buttons. The regulation was implemented through the amendment made to provisional Article 12 of the Highway Traffic Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated July 18, 1997, and numbered 23053 (duplicate).

The transition schedule has been determined as follows: • For models between 2025 and 2023: January 1, 2026 • For models between 2022 and 2018: January 1, 2027 • For models from 2017 and earlier: January 1, 2028

This equipment will not be required until the first inspection following the specified dates. The phased structure of the implementation aims to allow vehicle owners in the sector to distribute the financial burden over time and to ensure that service infrastructure reaches sufficient capacity across the country.

A separate transitional provision has also been introduced for vehicles registered or to be registered as school transport vehicles between February 18, 2025, and October 1, 2025, which already have camera and recording devices compliant with the provisions of the Regulation on the Manufacturing, Modification, and Assembly of Vehicles in force before February 18, 2025. The regulation will be jointly enforced by the Ministries of Interior, Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and Transport and Infrastructure. Some provisions entered into force 30 days after publication, while others came into force on the publication date.

With the amendments made to the Highway Traffic Regulation on November 29, 2024, it became mandatory for commercial passenger and public transportation vehicles, as well as taxis and minibuses, to have panic buttons, camera systems, and video recording devices. The technical infrastructure of this requirement was clarified through subsequent regulations.

With the regulation published in the Official Gazette dated February 18, 2025, and numbered 32817, the procedures and principles regarding the installation of camera systems were redefined within the “Regulation on the Manufacturing, Modification, and Assembly of Vehicles (AİTM).” The previous “Annex V/B” requirement was removed and replaced with a more comprehensive certification process.

In line with the instructions of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, and to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of school vehicle modification processes, only devices that have been verified through testing to operate in integration with the 112 Emergency Call Center were approved for installation. Within this framework, devices from companies that have obtained a “Temporary Device Compliance for Installation Report” can be installed in school transport vehicles.

The list of companies holding this temporary report is dynamically updated, and companies that fully meet all technical and administrative requirements and receive full approval are regularly announced. Additionally, companies that have obtained a temporary report but have technical deficiencies or have not fulfilled their financial obligations are published in a separate list. Installation processes can be carried out either by these companies through at least 10 service points across 7 geographical regions nationwide or by companies holding a “Serial Modification Authorization Certificate.”
